The Academy specializes in training students as entry level workers in the Health Care Field. The demand for trained Health Care workers is acute in Louisiana, and in many parts of the country.
 
As a licensed Health Care provider Regional can offer employment to student who successfully complete a course in  various locations thorough the state. Additionally the Academy will assist with Job Placement with other employers seeking qualified employees.
 
Requirements:

-At least 18 years of Age.
-HS diploma, or GED.
-Pass the Health Care background check.
-Valid drivers license, Auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements
 
We offer training as Home Health Aids (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants, (CNA), Direct Service Workers (DSW) and Personal Care Attendants (PCA). The training will consist of both classroom instruction and "hands on" training in actual  patient settings.
 
Regional will assist the student in meeting the requirement of initial training and for continuing or in-services hours required by the various regulatory boards.
